Informatics Olympiad of Central Europe (July 8-14 / Targu Mures)



 Romania organizes for the third time of Informatics Olympiad of Central Europe (July 8-14 / Targu Mures) 08.07.2009

Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation, County School Inspectorate Mures and University "Petru Maior" organized during July 8-14, Târgu Mures, the XVI edition of the Science Olympics Central (CEOI).

At this year's edition will attend 56 students from 11 countries (Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Switzerland, Serbia, Moldova and the U.S.), of which the last four have the status of guest. The lot will represent Romania is composed of the following students: Cosmin Gheorghe, Cristian Bogdan Tataroiu, Marius Ioan Dragus (all from the School of International Science and Bucurest) and Andrei Bogdan Pârvu (National College of Informatics "Tudor Vianu" of Bucharest). opening ceremony is scheduled Thursday, 9 July 2009 at 9.30 at the Culture Palace of Targu Mures.

Under the regulation, each state can join the competition a team of maximum 4 students whose age does not exceed 19 years from the date of the contest. Host country can line up the two bands still uncompetitive and a selected city in which developing the contention.

Informatics Olympiad of Central Europe is a typical regional competition launched and organized by Romania in 1994 and 2000, in Cluj-Napoca.
